Hi, I’m Sheila and I am the creator behind Posy Crafts. I am based outside the small town of Arbroath
on the north east coast of Scotland.
I work with pebbles as they are something that has always fascinated me. They are such seemingly
simple little objects; you find them everywhere and we all collected them from beaches and streams
in our childhood. But pebbles are formed as a result of rocks being naturally tumbled by water or
glaciers. This process doesn’t happen overnight and these little miracles of nature can take
thousands of years to form.

I decided to do something with these little wonders that would give pleasure and sometimes raise a
smile. I create pebble art mostly as box framed pictures which are often humorous, sometimes
inspirational and always unique – I may replicate a design but all are handmade by me and all will
have some variations.
In addition to working with pebbles I also work with sea glass. It’s amazing what 20 plus years, tumbling in the sea, can do to an ordinary piece of discarded glass! The little ‘gems of the sea’ make beautiful pictures which, like the pebble pictures, can be customised to create a truly original and personal piece of art.
You are welcome to contact me with your own ideas or to request adaptations to my designs. Very
little stock is held and once you place an order it could take up to ten days for me to create your
picture and post it out to you – so if you’re in a rush make sure you tell me about it!
